Khusrau's contribution to Indian music is rather legendary. From Khayal
to sitar, and qawwali to Jhoola geet, the traditional
musicians credit him with many "inventions". Today’s musicologist,
however, may differ with their belief - as many of these claims are not validated
by authentic contemporary sources.
